Dr. Troy Nash isn't your typical AI speaker. He doesn't come from Silicon Valley. He comes from Section 8 housing.
Labeled "at-risk" as a child and told he wasn't college material, Dr. Nash defied every expectation. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was elected to the Kansas City City Council at age 29, eventually serving as Chair. He became the first African American to achieve principal status at a top-tier commercial real estate firm in Missouri's 200-year history—shattering a glass ceiling that stood since Missouri became the 24th state on August 10, 1821.
Today, as a professor of real estate and CEO of AGI Affinity, Dr. Nash brings a perspective to AI that audiences rarely hear: What happens when communities are left behind? And what can we do to ensure the AI revolution lifts everyone?
