SOURCING AND CORRECTIONS

Sourcing, Verification and Corrections Policy

How we source, check and correct the information we publish.

Effective Date: October 10, 2026

Our commitment

AGI Affinity publishes research, assessments and data so that communities, organizations and leaders can make informed decisions about AI readiness. We hold ourselves to a simple standard: if we cannot trace it to a source, we do not publish it.

Where our information comes from

We use primary sources: the agency, organization, court, utility or company that produced the information, in its own report, dataset, filing or statement. News stories may point us to a source, but we take facts and figures from the source itself. We link to the source we used.

How we verify

Before we publish, we read the source and record the exact words that support each finding. Key findings are quoted word for word. We recheck figures whenever we update a page and whenever someone reports a problem. If a source page moves or disappears, we either remove the item or link to an archived copy of the page we verified, and we label it as an archived copy.

What we take responsibility for

We are responsible for the accuracy of our own work: what we write, and how we quote, count, summarize and translate our sources. When we make a mistake, we own it, we correct it, and we say so.

What we do not take responsibility for

We do not control, and are not responsible for, the accuracy of reports, datasets and websites published by others. Including or linking to a source does not mean we endorse it or its conclusions. Sources can change after we verify them. If a source turns out to be wrong, we will note the problem and update our page once we learn of it.

Projections and estimates

A projection is not a measurement. Projections and estimates, including our own, are labeled as projections, with the basis for each one.

Corrections

If you believe something on this site is wrong, please email us at info@agiaffinity.com with the page and, if you have it, the source. We will check it against the source. If we made an error, we will correct the page within 5 to 7 business days and add a dated entry to our corrections log describing what changed and why. We do not quietly change facts.

Not professional advice

Our research is general information. It is not legal, financial, engineering, tax or investment advice. Our Terms of Service also applies to this page.
