I grew up in Section 8 housing in Kansas City. I didn't just escape poverty. I systematized the escape and dedicated my life to helping others do the same.
I helped my older brothers enroll in college first. Then I enrolled my mother so she could earn her GED. Only then did I focus on my own education. Each one, teach one.
